rais, a London-based start-up, providing automated retention and acquisition marketing software to SME retailers, will share its industry expertise at the inaugural Social Retail Summit on June 25th at the Google Town Hall in central London. Rais CEO, Will Young, will join other retail industry executives to discuss some of the main issues faced by today’s retailers.

The Social Retail Summit has previously run in New York, and gives retailers the chance to explore strategies to help them succeed in a constantly evolving industry. It’s founder Peter Verkooijen wanted to bring the format to London, given the innovation that’s happening within the retail industry here. During the summit, leaders from emerging retail start-ups and service providers will share insights on the future of social retailing. In addition to discussing strategies on ways to connect with modern audiences, the panellists will also discuss how to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive market.

Specifically, panellists will address topics such as the future of direct to consumer brands, reinventing the offline store, merging retail and media and social marketing strategies: the value of using a more personalized, “human” approach to marketing.

He’s worked both sides of the Atlantic and founded rais in early 2015 on the back of running a consultancy business focussed on helping SME retailers make more money from their data.
